Founders story

With Microsoft celebrating 50 years, I’ve been reflecting - not just about the scale of the company's global impact, but the deeply personal influence it’s had on my own journey.

Every so often, life presents you with a fork in the road. For me, it was choosing between music and technology - two passions that have shaped how I think, lead, and create. I chose tech, but the rhythm of music stayed with me, influencing how I connect ideas and people.

Microsoft has been more than a career chapter - it’s been a launchpad. From business development to consulting and then stepping out to build my own company, I’ve learned that change can be an invitation to grow - if you’re willing to lean into it.

A special part of my journey was shared with my father, who also worked at Microsoft. During the pandemic, despite being in different countries, we worked on projects together - learning from each other, blending perspectives across generations, and strengthening our bond through shared purpose.

Growing up in Goa, I never imagined my Degree in Computer Science would lead me down the Microsoft Dynamics path - one that brought opportunities in Singapore, New Zealand, and now Australia.

And in one of those serendipitous “only once in life” moments, it was a work trip to Sydney tied to Microsoft technology that led me to meet my husband on the Manly ferry. What started as a career opportunity helped me build a life filled with meaning.

But perhaps the most lasting influence Microsoft had on me was through its mission - to empower every person and every organisation on the planet to achieve more. That mission stayed with me. It’s what drove me to start Sasbri Consulting: a business dedicated to empowering Microsoft partners to thrive - not just survive. To help them unlock their potential, build resilience, and truly realise the value of their partnership with Microsoft.

Through my time at Microsoft and the incredible work I’ve done with Microsoft partners, I’ve been surrounded by brilliant colleagues, bold customers, and generous mentors. You’ve helped shape who I am today, and I’m grateful for every conversation, challenge, and celebration we’ve shared.

I continuously feel inspired because Microsoft’s story isn’t just about technology - it’s about people, purpose, and possibility. And I’m proud to be a part of that story.
